So many compatibility issues. I remember the days with Windows Update meant update.not upset. I am sure this update may be needed but not sure if I want to restore the computer again to see. Too many steps suggested above to try.maybe a fix update to NET would work instead.
I had to restore the computer too just a few weeks ago. Have had nothing but issues with Win8.this and green screen on videos after a few weeks. (Side issue, fixes with restore point each time, but stupid I have to.not driver issue seeing it goes a week before reappearing, then restore point, then a few days, but back to this.) I see all the steps, but way to much for people with some to little computer knowledge. Maybe Win8.1 this winter will fix a few more things.I hope.
